So here is my first go. Would really appreciate some comments so we can make this ubiquitous and the ratings need some trendy names. At the moment I am playing around with the rating so expect it to evolve for the time being. Apologies to the few companies mentioned but someone has to start to give an example (If I have got it wrong let me know and I'll upgrade your status)

Great idea for a post, Michael. Let's see a WP custom content type page listing them all ;)
ReplyDeleteAlso, Hawthorne's Coffee Roasters in HN is a 4-
I think I'll wait to see if this develops. A custom page would be good but not sure whether Wordpress is the right tool (maybe a wiki?)
ReplyDeleteBrena suggested I have a 15 point scale (she is right of course) but it "feels" like a 5 point one. I probably dont need the three point scale in the 1 and 2 star range. What I hope is that 1) this will encourage cafes to improve their rating, and 2 if we create a suitable graphic that they can put in their window - it'll give a customer a quick way to see what type of wi-fi they're offering (which will encourage them to get a better rating!).
